I live in one of the best places to live in South Carolina, Anderson, SC to be exact... We are only 3 hours from the Mountains, and 3 hours from the Beach. Natural disasters rarely occur here, so our investment in our homes is pretty stable. Taxes are low, and insurance is reasonable. Beautiful Norman Rockwell Open Land Views, and often in the distance we can see the mountain tops. Great place to retire.
