fiberglass insulation - blanket or rigid insulation composed of glass fibers bound together with a binder, typically sold in compressed rolls sized to fit between wall studs. It may be faced (attached to a thin vapor barrier) or unfaced and is used to insulate roofs and walls. See also insulation.
