management agreement - a contract between a property management company and its principal, either an individual property owner or a group of owners such as a homeowners' association, to perform certain defined acts on behalf of the principal in consideration of a fee. Management companies acting under such contracts will perform such acts as collecting rents or dues, preparing budgets, supervising landscape maintenance, paying bills for services rendered, and providing overall management advisory services.
