reasonable time - any time for performance of some act required by a contract that is established by the parties themselves, or that is established by a third party (judge, mediator, arbitrator) interpretation based on the totality of the circumstances of the transaction. For example, it is not uncommon for escrows to close several days late. Courts have generally held that such a short delay does not constitute a breach unless the contract language itself specifies otherwise. See also reasonable.
