voidable - contract that may be valid, but that is capable of being voided (disaffirmed) if certain circumstances, actions, or conditions should occur. A contract in which fraud has occurred may be voidable by the defrauded party. A contract by a minor for an item not deemed a necessity (such as food or shelter) may be voidable by the minor or a guardian.
