Generally, in condominium ownership, the documents clearly state that the real estate that the condos are built on are common elements. I have seen some situations where the common elements are separate and each building is a condo association by itself. That way, the condos in that building share the real estate taxes, expenses, etc. The recorded documents for each association will spell out exactly how they define each element. If you can't find your documents, give me the property ID and exact name of the condo and I will see if I can look up the documents in the public records. I will be happy to email them or just give you the answer if I can. You should have my email address through homesurfer. Carol Wilsey
